cycloid Posted August 13, 2005 put doombuilder on an old laptop but dx9 refuses to allow direct3d to work with the shitty old gfx card/drivers (dell latitude: neomagic 128**) attempted a registry hack to force direct3d to go into software mode to no avail. so basically i cant run doombuilder's 3d mode, windowed or full screen thoughts? 0 Share this post Link to post

cycloid Posted August 20, 2005 cool, except i just realised that if direct3d refuses to work on the crappy laptop video chip then gl probably wont either. ho hum. i only planned to knock together maps on my laptop anyway and obviously clean and fully functionalise them on a proper computer anyway. just thought it'd be cool to be able to map in the kitchen, heh 0 Share this post Link to post
