If you mean save your map it's file->save map as or ctrl+maj+s by default, I guess. then run the map with the source port you mapped for. 0 Share this post Link to post
PhilibusMo Posted January 15, 2009 save your map and then (possibly the easiest way for beginers) find where you saved it and find your doom executable, whether that be doom95, zdoom, skulltag or otherwise and then drag your wad onto the executable. (make sure u have a player 1 start) 0 Share this post Link to post
justinhavu Posted January 15, 2009 Thanks guys! I'll try that with Doom95. 0 Share this post Link to post
justinhavu Posted January 15, 2009 SUCCESS! I can get the map to work with Doom95. Thanks for the help! 0 Share this post Link to post
Mithral_Demon Posted January 16, 2009 There is an easier way with out drag and drop, but involves Options menu.... Configuration>Testing> There should be a Location Box that would lead to the program you use to run Doom, by clicking that nice button next to it you can take it the port and it ok and there! Then the "Play" button on the Tool bar where the "Vertex","Sector","Line" modes are. This is easier tbh. 0 Share this post Link to post
justinhavu Posted February 5, 2009 Alright, another question. Say I've created several maps. Is there a way to play them back to back like a normal game of Doom, without having to relaunch my Doom executable (doom95, zDoom, etc.)? 0 Share this post Link to post
GreyGhost Posted February 6, 2009 I can think of three options - merge the maps into a single wad, run them from a command prompt or use a front-end launcher like exl's LaunchTool. 0 Share this post Link to post
