adding sounds

what format of sound files does wintex accept when using zdoom? i'd just like to know, because if it's wav files that rules... well, hopefully it is.. let me know someone..

I forgot to add, the original game SoundFX were 11,025 Hz / 8-bit / mono sounds. I think they do need to be mono in order to work. You can change the sample rate though, 22,050 Hz / 8-bit is usually good enough for most in-game sounds.
