DM Exits

Are exits in DM maps really important? They're never used, yet I see them in all DM WADs. Is there something I'm missing here?

Some servers might want to use them to allow players to switch maps. You're right that they're often resitricted by DM flags, but there's no reason I can think of to NOT toss in an exit.
