Help on wintex

I've been told this is a powerful little tool, I went and downloaded got it running and now I'm trying to merge 2 pwads. 2 texture wads specifically, when I try to do thid though i simply get a error message which reads:

Error:
The command line od DeuSF is too big for DOS (try using shorter paths.)

WTF does this mean? Thanks for any help in advance.

Well, you might want to try doing what it suggests: using shorter paths. Say, copy both wads to c:\merge or something like that.

ok I did just what you siad now it says

error:
Can't send commands to DeuSF

Am I missing a program? I got the threed file and vbrun300.dll file. Is it something like that?
