Help about sprites

I need a program than can create DOOM-format sprites from images (bitmaps / gifs could do). Is there anything around ???

Sprites aren't just "created"

You draw them yourself using MS Paint (My personal fave)

Then use a lump editing utility such as SLumpEd or XWE. You can find them on the editors/utilities page on this site.

There's also a bunch of alternatives to MS Paint that people always tell me are superior, such as paint.net and Gimp.

I've already created the sprites using a program similar to MS Paint, the problem is that I want a program to convert the .bmp file to the Doom sprite format (i.e. the original sprite format that can be used with vanilla, not PNG sprite format).

Importing them into your WAD with SLumpEd or XWE will auotmatically convert them into Doom palette images.
