Photoshop tutorial for texture making?

Photoshop is a big intimidating program with more power and features than the average person can deal with. I am very fortunate to have a copy of it for work and I am supposed to be learning it for work. I was thinking if someone would make a (youtube?) tutorial on using photoshop for making doom textures and modifying existing doom textures--that'd be a pretty sweet resource for anyone who has photoshop and wants to make textures but doesn't know the ins and outs of the program.

It is too bad that essel's images aren't showing up there because his tutorials seem pretty decent. I think the best thing to do would be to decide what kind of texture you want and then look up tutorials to achieve some of the effects you are looking for. But I agree, if someone created a Doom texture specific photoshop video tutorial it would be a very valuable resource for the Doom community.
