Question about sounds and DeHackEd.

I've noticed that some sounds in Doom aren't restricted by distance and can therefore be heard clearly all over a specific map (Icon of Sin sounds, Cyberdemon sounds, etc). Is there any way to mark a sound in DeHackEd as a "loud" sound or is it to do with the sound itself?
