DECORATE things in Doom mode - DB2

Hola. I'm working on a zdoom map set with custom things. I miss the simplicity of Doom format. In DB2 DECORATE things don't show up in any mode except hexen and UDMF. Is there, by chance, a means to map in Doom mode and also have the DECORATE things in the things list?
