PrBoom+ not recognizing imported custom textures, but ZDoom does.

i imported custom textures and flats into my Boom-compatible WAD file, and tested them in both ZDoom and prboom+ and got different results. ZDoom doesn't have any texture errors (according to the console), but PrBoom+ is showing every instance of custom textures as HOM's. what am i doing wrong here and what can i do to fix it?

I'm using SLADE3, and here's an image of what i have so far.

I'm not sure if ZDoom allows using single patches as textures, but do you have PNAMES and TEXTURE1 in your custom wad?

You need to update them with your new textures. I don't use SLADE so I don't know if there's any automated way to do this, but there should be.

hey i'm getting this error when trying to play the map in Prboom (after putting in PNAMES and TEXTURE1 and removing unused stuff), what do i do?

Then creating TEXTUREx lump, you nee to select "Import from base resource archive".
So, if you have any TEXTUREx lumps, delete them and add patches to TEXTUREx from start, but using import.
Don't delete patches, if textures with them are unused. It may crush game.
