texture wads

Has anyone come across any decent texture wads?
Ones with modern textures or military ones ideally, but any will do.

Go to http://www.doomworld.com/afterglow / that's where the texture WADs are.

Go to www.teamtnt.com and click on The Return link. Here, you will find a resource wad where Eternal DooM's textures are stored.

You can also try Texture Universe. They have some neat textures:

You'll have to create your own wad file, although that isn't too hard.

For military textures, maybe The Darkening 2 textures.. (is the texture wad free for use by other mappers?)

I have a bunch of .bmp textures that I would like to combine into an empty PWAD. I read your tutorial on how to use DeepSea to import the Bio01.bmp into a wad file. But the problem is that I have about 140 textures I would like to combine. Using the method you showed will take a very long time. Is there a way to combine all the textures at once so that the editor will recognize them?
