GooberMan Posted February 12, 2001 OK, I'm using Zeth to make a ZDoom hub, and bsp.exe to make the BSP trees. Now for some reason, polyobjects don't view properly after they've moved, and Zeth refuses to acknowledge some sectors after I've moved the verticies out a bit... anyone know what's going on and a possible solution? 0 Share this post Link to post
Biffy Posted February 12, 2001 Polyobjects tend to have display problems. I've had success several ways. 1. Move the sector containing the polyobjects (assuming it is outside of the play area of the map) somewhere else and do another node build. 2. Put a guard sector around the polyobject and do another node build. 3. Try another node builder. I have had the most success with WARM, it almost never causes problems. I've also used BSP and the WadAuthor node builder and occasionally one solves a problem another creates. Don't know about the sector problem, unless you moved some lines so that their front or back sides are not identified with the sector they now face. You can usually check individual lines in a sector and see which one is mis-identified, then manually change it's sidedef sector. If you still can't fix something, I'm willing to look at it and advise...email it and I'll help. 0 Share this post Link to post
GooberMan Posted February 12, 2001 Thanks, WARM did the trick. And as for the sector thing, it only seems to be Zeth that it screws up on, I gave it a try in DeepSea and it had absolutely no problems (oh, and as for the sector ref on linedefs, they have saved me many a go-back-to-data-saved-half-an-hour-ago situations when I accidentally delete a linedef or even a sector :) 0 Share this post Link to post
