speed mapping??

what ever happened to this doomworld event. i checked out that section and it seems over a years has passed after the last one. i didn't think it was that long. anyway why has this seemed to drop from exsistance. I think it is a good idea and that someone should bring it back. personaly i would join in the mapping, but i dont know how to edit doom maps

1) Speedmapping has been semi-active lately, on irc.freenode.net #zdoom

2) Learn to edit maps then :-P

Speedmapping happens like every weekend now. Read the forums more often, there's usually a post of when it'll happen and/or where to get the latest wads.
