my doom work

now i would like any help or advice on how to make far better doom wall papers. I have 2 for download and i am working on the 3rd. I want the 3rd to be totally kick ass. SO i am asking doomers for ideas and programs too. I am currently useing the program called GIMP, is much like photoshop but adds and is missing many things. Any sudgestions are welcome, i am a newbie at this wallpaper stuff so help me. I know my work is not much now but with time, help and practice i hope to make more and better doom related art. will here is the url to see my current work, also there are some maps and a front end to download there, the maps and the front end are NOT!!! my work but from a old doom disk!
