Doom Question, Help plz?

Ok, Question one..

Using zdoom, is there a way to connect to a server by way of typing the command though console? I know there is a way to do it with Q2, but I dont know how.

2nd, with zdoom how do I take game recordings? When I do, how do I view them? and is there a way to make them into a screen saver??

you mean like the opening demo's that doom has? You can make recordings but i you can't view them. All the recording is is a list of actions the player doesin a level, so viewing them in a graphic program is useless. You can use wintex to extract some pictures and sounds and turn thos einto screensavers....if you know how to make a screensaver that is......

with zdoom, to connect to a server you need to use a DOS-Prompt afaik. The command line is -join ip

IT exists, its called Desktopdoom

zdoom does not connect to servers, it can join a host though, perhaps we are talking of ZDaemon?

I've heard of desktop doom... I've also heard its crap =/
