elbryan42 Posted March 4, 2002 Many of you may know that my new project is ripping the enemy sprites from Doom 64. If you don't know, check out my site in my sig to see the progress. Anyways, most of the images for the enemies are at the end of the game. That is, all but the pain frames and the slop frames (for the zombie, shotgun guy, imp, and marine). those i'll need from within the game. I'm currently using Snagit to grab the screenshots, which works awesome! But... What would be useful is a program that captures images in sequence. Where I can start capturing and grabbing an image say, every 1/5 of a second. This way I can play the game, have the program capture, while I blow thru the enemies with a berserk and hit them on all sides. Then it'll be simple to just select the images I want compared to killing an enemy and praying I get the frame I need. Why don't I capture a video you ask? One, you lose some image quality with most codecs, particularly with a slow computer like mine (P2 300). Also, I've done all of the images at a 640x480 resolution, which really chops up the video. Thanks in advance. 0 Share this post Link to post
Crendowing Posted March 5, 2002 I was gonna suggest SnagIt, then I read the post. But if you have a Mac, you might want to try Avid Cinema for video capturing. 0 Share this post Link to post
