N.I. originally belonged to the Irish - the English took it from them (baad English), in fact, they took the whole of Ireland but the Irish has been given most of the island back to them - except N.I.

I know that a lot of English people live in N.I. which is probably the reason why you say that N.I. "IS you", but the land itself originally belonged to the Irish, which is the reason why I'm slowly beginning to be convinced that the most 'fair' thing to do would be to let the Irish have it.

It's not just the cards that make it a Hallmark holiday. It's the massive slection of cards pandering to every gender, age, sex, domestic situation/fuck-up, and price range the human mind can imagine. Not to mention the cheap paper classroom decorations, the St. George's Day candies, the dead-dragon plushies, the officially sponsored "Celebrate St. G's Day" insert in the Scholastic Book Club ad, the television spots featuring "This St. George's Day, remember to thank your local draconic pest control personnel," the dragon-slaying event on the south lawn of the White House, the masive market for baby Komodo dragons who will either be flushed down the toilet or sent to the pound to be euthanized once the holiday is over, et cetra, ad nauseum...

Well, still, they haven't made a card like that yet =P
