Play Doom 3, Win Money

If you're any good, that is. Both the Cyberathlete Amateur League and the Cyberathlete Professional League, CAL and CPL respectively, are now open to registration for Doom 3 Deathmatch tournaments. CAL has both 1 vs 1 and 2 vs 2 divisions, while CPL's Winter Extreme Championships will be host to a $50,000 1 vs 1 tournament.

$50,000?! Jesus. That's a hole crap load of cash. People win that much at the Calgary Stampede for god sakes. Only the psyco-type good people will take part in that one though...

u have to pay 100$ so no thanks... no matter how good you are, There is always such thing as random factors and im not willing to bet $100 on it.

More impressive I think is that doom3 is most likely going to be the game that's used for the $1,000,000 world tour next year.

In any case, I'll be there this winter, unless some emergency comes up of course.
