International Doom League Radio Launches

We're pleased to announce the launching of IDL Radio, a weekly radio show dedicated to keeping you updated on what is new with everyone's favorite Doom league. While discussion will be centered on current and future IDL topics and events, we'll also spend some time talking about the Doom community at large. The program will be hosted by Dew, Ru5tK1ng, and HumanBones - we'll frequently be joined by guests who will share their thoughts with us. We'll no doubt run out of topics to discuss at some point, so please send us some stuff to talk about or let us know throughout the show if you feel like joining us. The first broadcast is scheduled for Sunday, April 7th, 2013 @ 5pm EST. Happy listening!

Great idea! With a good amount of support and promotion I think this could provide a healthy boost to the multiplayer scene, and possibly help bridge the gap between communities.

Looking forward to the first broadcast!

We realized after there may have been a few things that people who have never played in the IDL before wouldn't understand, so we're going to clarify some of those things next week. Overall though, it was quite a bit of fun!

Why not make this a part of the TangoTV lineup of shows rather than keep them separate? That should help bridge the gap between the two even further slightly.

some cooperation would certainly be helpful, maybe some guest starring and cross-promotion. total merge seems unlikely though, both parties have different goals.

? All it would mean would be thaqt they would share website. Be part of a lineup letting people in on the different shows available.

well, that's what i meant by cross-promotion, but IDL radio is kinda laser focused to mesh with the stuff on ttv seamlessly and, you know, has its own site already, heh. now making these fools talk about multiplayer and whatever's going on in it currently in a broader scope, that would be worth some joint effort.
