Games that make you go... Yikes!

Have you ever played a game that left you feeling a little offended? see/done something that made you say: "uhhh... that's kinda sick..." well here's the place to fess up!

I'll get the ball rolling:
Solder of Fortune, far more then any of the GTA or even the postal games was a bit iffy IMO. The whole Lets go and kill some evil terrorists for the good US! combined with the excessive gore, and over the top weapons, left me feeling a little guilty. Witch uhhh, didn't stop me from finishing it three times over. Heh. Oh well.

NOTE: I'm not trying to start a moral crusade or to get any games banned, just asking people's option. feel free to call me a wuss if the sprit takes you.

Anyway, I haven't really found anything too offensive in any computer games I've ever played. I'm offended by a lot of things, but none of them have ever cropped up in anything I've played. There have been a few potentialy offensive games I've played though they didn't offend me:

Fallout 2 was full of sex, hard drug usage, and some really foul-mouthed comments, but what the Hell else would you expect when the entire world is a radioactive wastleland and the only other people alive are ghouls, mutants, prostitutes, gangsters, drug dealers, bandits, and fascists? Myron was a chauvanist bastard, but he was also about as nerdy as bill gates.

GTA 3 was deemed offensive by many people, but the violence was all surreal and more fun than realistic. Everything else in the game was mostly true, too true to offend.

That's about it.

Dunno. Maybe thrill kill (but not the wu-tang clan game).

edit: okay the only thing offensive about that was the fact that porn converts horribly to the doom2 palette...plus the map was pretty damn bad even with the badly converted porn...

I once played a Mario style game called private investigator. You had to have sex with hookers down the street to increase your healthlevel, but that was more fun than offensive.

I believe Postal² was the most offensive game I've played so far. But it didn't really shock me. It was a lot of fun.

Postal 2 is pretty bad, but it's not mega serious so I don't mind.

I can't think of another game thats has made me feel like that. I thought it was pretty gross killing the dancers in Duke Nukem and the Andorian prostitutes in KHG but it was hardly graphic :P

I guess wiping out scores of pedestrians in Die Hard 3 would have been more gross if they weren't so horribly cartoony and abysmally animated. Plus you lost points for running them over anyway :P

Carmageddon was pretty bad too, but it was more fun than horrific.

I think it'll be a while before we get the really offensive games.

Video gaming is still in it's nascent stages compared to many other art forms, so there's a lot of time for standards to slip and for it to join cinema on it's sex, drugs and violence-ridden debauched journey to hell.

Postal2 is probably the most so far, but I love that kind of stuff, so it didn't really offend me. Actually, the most offensive gaming experiences I've had are probably to do with the dialogue and storylines. My intelligence has been insulted and taken beatings many times from these areas of games.

Doom was pretty bad interms of content, but it was more fun than anything else :P

I have yet to see a business manager game involving trafficking (not drugs but slave prostitutes) and pedophilia.

Yeah, a game where you'll have to manage a pedophile ring avoiding detection while making lots of money with lots of intermissions with educational insights into the excesses of human suffering.

That would be fun.

Ok there is one game that offended me. XXX BMX. Just plain horrible.

Oh yeah, how could I forget:
One of those Christian ultra-religious games that got reviewed on somethingawful.com (one of 'em was called "Purge" - dunno what the other one was called).
