I just want to browse /g/ & /x/ in bed and write some blog posts with this. I think this is a good deal for and Android computer and I am planning to push the button on this one. Just wanted some advice first. 0 Share this post Link to post
Shaikoten Posted April 10, 2012 Note the "works best with stylus" and "memory by 'sumsung.'" My money is on this tablet sucking, a lot. Best to check reviews with shady 3rd party Chinese electronics, sometimes you can be pleasantly surprised. But usually you just get what you pay for. 0 Share this post Link to post
Planky Posted April 10, 2012 I'd go to a brick and mortar store to test the display units. Most tablets I've tried I noted have slow CPU/gpus. Simply swiping the screen would have a visible delay and jittery animation or poor frame rate. The higher end stuff performed a helluva lot better - dual core CPUs, etc. Id stay away from unknown eBay models. 0 Share this post Link to post
chungy Posted April 10, 2012 I wouldn't bother with a tablet if it doesn't have at least Android 3.2 or newer on it. Android 2.2 is a bit ancient and even phones with it are increasingly becoming uncommon. 0 Share this post Link to post
Fluffles Posted April 10, 2012 I would of thought it'd be perfect for exactly what you want it for. Unless you start watching movies or doing alot of browsing etc it may be worth getting a better tablet. Really damn cheap aswell nice. 0 Share this post Link to post
Bloodshedder Posted April 10, 2012 Tablets under $150 are almost universally bad. 0 Share this post Link to post
neubejiita Posted April 11, 2012 I ended up purchasing a Telstra tablet instead. http://www.smh.com.au/digital-life/tablets/review-telstra-ttouch-tab-20101103-17d77.html This works perfectly for what I wanted it for and using a stylus does not bother me. 0 Share this post Link to post
Fluffles Posted April 18, 2012 Nice, nifty looking tablet there. I was thinking of getting http://www.ebuyer.com/344807-archos-101-gen-9-tablet-pc-502047 Rather a bargin for the spec I'd say. Want it so I can remote into my computer at home and just play simple games or do shizz on my computer. Doubt I will get it though as it's still £250 ($400). 0 Share this post Link to post
