I used to have optical illusions as desktops but eyes really hurt from staring daily at that.

Yep, I got both LF2 and C-LF2(Crazy Version), but I havn't played it for a long time. I also got Counter-Strike, which will play it sometimes.

What window manager are you using? I thought that was StumpWM at first but then I noticed the title bars.

Sawfish, very simple and configurable.

You know you look at too much Furry when that first My Lil Pony wallpaper makes you think about getting horny.

Yes, that is terrible, but not at all uncommon. My first reaction when I saw Doomhuntress' desktop was, "What? Really? A girl watches that show?" because a few trips around the internet has made it seem that MLP:FIM is watched exclusively by males in their twenties who will give various justifications for doing so. It's not hard to understand why, really. Any lonely man with a taste for animation will see the characters as their ideal women: cute, young, non-threatening, and energetic enough to do all the legwork in a relationship. For some, the characters also represent a multitude of perky equine butt-cheeks which could be pried apart as some object is inserted between them, but this isn't essential to a man's obsession with the show. A simple desire to interact with a show's characters can be enough to lead to dedicated viewing, and, to be honest, I'm consciously avoiding the series because I'm concerned it may affect me in that way.

My desktop.
I still haven't bought a new computer after my last one died, but my uncle was willing to lend me this one. One of his conditions was that I wipe all of his data and start from scratch, which suits me just fine. The desktop image isn't compressed on my screen because I'm using 1024x768 on a widescreen monitor.

I'm guessing the folder you've got labeled "Creativity" is empty, no?

This wouldn't have hurt me if it wasn't true.

Where the hell do you get this? O_o

From the internet, obviously. I've not seen any people like what he mentioned, although I've seen smutty fan-art of the show.

Just had a cool idea for desktop backgrounds. Something that updates the image every five minutes like Xearth, except it displays gradual increments of video game stages, like for example:
(watch out, this page has lots of gfx)

Btw, example of Xearth in action (running in Cygwin, but there are also native Win32 ports):

(and I'm lovin' that old school fvwm-1 look...)

Not much on my desktop. The picture is of the late-great Steve Williams. One of the best wrestlers ever and one of the toughest men ever to walk the planet. While he did wrestle in the states, he never got as popular as he should have. Hes a legend in Japan. Known for his super high impact style and his ability to take massive amounts of real punishment.

His Backdrop Driver has to be on of the most brutal moves in history of wrestling.

He would also Backdrop Driver people into the turnbuckle.

The background image was taken near Isispynten, Nordaustlandet, Svalbard in August 2007. It's slightly stretched horizontally, since I couldn't be bothered to crop it. The bear was thin, but not that thin.

Funny, I see from the Norwegian wiki page that since I was there, they have determined that Isispynten is an island, rather than part of Nordaustlandet. I guess there will be plenty more such discoveries in the future. There have been quite a few in Greenland too.

No, Sony Vaio VGN-TZ11VN. A nice little computer that has served me well for about three and a half years.
