Hellbent Posted August 7, 2013 I did a google search for macbook pro fan runs a lot and found this page: https://discussions.apple.com/thread/3700276?start=0&tstart=0 So I opened Activity monitor and found this: Killed the HP Product Research process and fans quieted down. Damn. so evil. I almost feel like a suit could be filed. Excessive wear on my computer, collecting information unawares about my activity or whatever they are "researching" and excessive energy use from this BS process. 0 Share this post Link to post
