How do I properly stream Doom?

Hey, I've been trying to stream some gameplay footage of doom, but it appears to be a black screen and I can't seem to get OBS to work properly. I am using 1 monitor btw. Are there any tutorials or tips out there that can help?

For me I can't record prboom-plus in OBS but can record glboom-plus, so maybe try playing in OpenGL if you haven't yet.

Wait a minute, I'm an Idiot, I didn't set up the game capture for the right .exe, and I was using GZDoom.

Don't use full screen.
