Overclocking DDR4

Recommended Posts

Is anyone else doing this? I'm interested to see how mileage may be varying. I've come straight from DDR2, so.

I have some Corsair Vengeance DDR4 3000 in my new machine.

SPD suggests 3000Mhz at 15-17-17-35 / 1.35V

I've got it to 3200Mhz at 15-15-15-35 / 1.3V which seems stable, below about 1.3V it wouldn't boot reliably. Admittedly I haven't run a thorough memtest yet.

One thing I cannot seem to change is the command rate - I think I'm stuck with 2T, 1T seems un-bootable regardless of other timings, but I've seen 1T referenced on internet - any comments?
