The English Premiership

Recommended Posts

For all of those in England (or elsewhere, too), how many of you are Premiership fans? Several people have introduced me to the Premiership and it's quite cool.

I prefer the English premiership over any other football/soccer-league. It's agressive, fast and hard. I love the way defenders just ram the ball forward instead of passing it zigzag across the pitch..

Pay attention: he has learnt wisely from the master (me) =)

I wish we could get one on United again like 1.1.96. Remmeber that one fods?

And how about the 3-5? Heh, what an anti-climax for me.

See there's the difference, EVERYONE remembers a win against ManU, but our wins are legion, we only remember ones against Liverpool :P

Q: What's the difference between a dead dog in the road and a dead Yankees fan in the road?
A: There are skid marks in front of the dog.

Q: What's the difference between Bigfoot and a smart Yankee fan?
A: Big Foot has been cited before!

i have more, but this isn't the Yankees Suck thread :(

Tottenham are doomed to mid-table mediocrity (at best) for the foreseeable future.

Yeah, but it's more fun than just cheering for a team that wins year after year after year. That's only fun if it's your home team.

Plus, I'm used to mediocrity (or worse), my Buccos haven't had a winning season since 1992.

I feel like the only Liverpudlian male with a distinct hatred of football.

I'm a Newcastle supporter (my Dad's a Geordie), but I'm always happy when Reading, the nearest team that's actually higher than the 3rd division, do well too.
