Thank you so kindly for enlightening us with your extended discussion.

Anyways, care to clarify what it is that's giving you a problem?
"I removed it but it keeps starting up" isn't much to go on..

You didn't pin it to the taskbar did you?

Shouldn't this be on the FreeDoom forums?

I am seriously confused here. I wasn't aware Freedoom had an installer. Am I missing something here? Granted, I'll admit I have been a bit out of the loop when it comes to Freedoom lately, so maybe an installer has been created, but last I checked, it was just an IWAD, and all you had to do to remove it was just delete it.

Where did you download it from?

Could be one of those "play classic Doom for free with modern graphics" packs that float around, and usually pack an ancient version of ZDoom/ZDoomGL with a bunch of IWADs. ALthough FreeDoom is usually NOT one of them...

Did you also install one of the recommended source ports? If so, which one and where? That's most likely what's starting up unexpectedly.
