Eternity ignores palette when taking screenshots

I've noticed (since awhile) that Eternity always seems to use the usual palette, no matter if the player has taken damage, the radiation shielding suit or the berserk pack. I'm willing to assume that neither "item overdose daze" won't appear in screenshots.

Was this done to deter people from making all-red joke screenshots? I think the palette change may yet be useful in screenshots, to give a quick hint whether the place the player goes through has berserk or radsuit activity. Or is it a bug?

I think it was meant to be a feature really. Or it's a bug. Take your pick I guess. Obviously it does have advantages of preventing accidental "red-out" screenshots but then you also cannot capture berserk or rad-suit. I'll see what I can do about it.

It's a consequence of the screenshot module loading the palette itself rather than depending on the one currently set to the framebuffer.
