StevieWolfe Posted April 25, 2012 There was a full version of the Ultimate Doom art floating around the interwebs somewhere, I've been dying to find it again. It was the entire image, not cropped down for the posters or box art either. 0 Share this post Link to post

He is the son of Polish immigrants, and Poland is located right beside Germany, so there might be a possibility of some of his ancestors having mixed ethnicity. 2.) If he didn't have the physical resemblances of an Aryan then he wouldn't have such successful chances of infiltrating the Aryan military bases, and therefore that would make the plot of the game seem too unrealistic and silly. 0 Share this post Link to post

I've personally always liked the Power Slave one, and was very surprised to see it pop up at all. The Bodycount one I knew existed, and I had it once, just lost it. You are quite a valuable resource here. 0 Share this post Link to post

Also always found it funny he had a shotgun on his back yet the weapon wasn't in the game. 0 Share this post Link to post

What cyberdemon in the way back? On the released PSX box, the cyberdemon in the way back (+ the thing he shot) is removed... Clonehunter said:and actually, a bit odd, the PowerSlave art, the normal game art he's pulling a machete, but there he's pulling his revolver. On the original he holds a pistol (+ muzzleflash) and the machete is on the belt. And he looks like he was walking through the water (he is dryer). On the released box you see him holding the machete and the gun is holstered on the belt. And he looks like he comes out of the water (like he was diving, or swimming). Clonehunter Posted September 9, 2012 I must say it is interesting that they made the changes. Also I like the muzzle flash being the same one that's used fo the M60. I kinda wonder why the Realm 667 M^) which uses the gun graphics from PowerSlave don't also use the flashes. I'm guessing they didn't extract well? Also, I was hoping you could fill out a hard one, maybe hard, I dunno. I could probably find an 'okay' version if I remembered the whole title. The art was for Quake and had Ranger walking up castle steps that led to a wide window looking out over a larger castle. If I remember right, it claimed to be an official Id Sanctioned Modding Kit. The gameart I thought was really cool, and I found it on some shovelware site that had tons of covers, though they were small and meh. Any chance of knowing what I'm talking about? Any chance of finding good copies of the art? 0 Share this post Link to post
Besli Posted September 9, 2012 Sorry, I don't know the pic you are talking about. Can you please post the small one, then I can try to find a better one. Here is a reconstructed clean Heretic cover, by Tea Monster: http://www.sendspace.com/file/85vuhw 0 Share this post Link to post

Besli Posted September 10, 2012 Does someone here remember the good old Amiga days? Most of the games came with posters, showing the cover art in high resolution. Here is a Example: http://chrisachilleos.co.uk/index.php/art-shop?Itemid=473&option=com_rokecwid&view=ecwid&ecwid_product_id=8258482#ecwid:category=0&mode=product&product=8258482 The Poster (my brother still has hanging it in his room) had a black border, plus the game logo you can see on the box cover, and the Psygnosis logo (with the owl) on it. Good old days... 0 Share this post Link to post
Belial Posted September 12, 2012 I didn't want to start a new thread so I'll post it here even though it probably isn't game art. Does anyone know where this came from? Any source or higher quality version? 0 Share this post Link to post
