How do you make a monster immune to a certain type of weapon?

Is there a "flag propriety" or weapon setting to do so?
I'm not talking about "ACS scripts".

If you mean ZDoom, then the simplest way is probably to make the weapons inflict a custom damage type and give the monster a corresponding damage factor of 0.
