What exactly was ZZ_Topper_X's offense that led to his banning.

Sure he was a rather unfriendly moron but I have not seen him commiting any grave offences.


I would like to know so that I can learn how to keep on the right side. I make a habit out of analysing banned people's last threads as well as posthelled threads to learn what is not a good idea to post on these forums and I think others should follow my example.

(Stick the warez request as a reminder to any moron who gets the wrong idea).

I would like to add that linking to a porn site is evil.

You can say like this: "goatse.cx". That's OK.

But if you make a link, such as http://goatse.cx, you'll get your postcount reset in the best case and banned in the worst case.

And I'm not going to mention using image tags for that thing heh.

Meh. From what I heard, goatse.cx doesn't even exist anymore, though I don't feel like going back there just to find out. :)

It went back up several months ago. Turn off images and go there to verify :)

He flamed us who inhabit the Politics and Religion because he didn't like that we actually had opinions and cared to discuss them.

He also posted a true gem over at the Level competition thread.

It was basically about how much he didn't care to make a level. Nice thing to know really.

He could be nifty having around for starting the odd flamewar, but given the risk of serious threads being affected it would probably not be worth it anyway.

Most of those FOUR MILLION DOLLAR LIMIT NO INTEREST FOR NINETY DECADES things in giant flames on the front of the envelope have a tiny "ifyouqualify" stuck in the far corner about the same color as the paper.

Fill one out and send it back, usually you'll end up with a $200 to $500 limit to start out with and a hefty interest, ranging between a 17 and a 25 fixed depending on where you live.

Oh and here's the thing. You DON'T WANT perfect credit.

They refused to give me a card because my credit was too flawless. So I missed a car payment by a week and next thing I know I got SEVEN credit card offers in the mail.

Regardless, they are a CONVENIENCE. See a game you want? No cash till the end of the week but by then you won't have time to play it? Problem solved.

Heh, I got this thing last week. The top page was a check for about seventeen hundred dollars American, and the rest was the conditions for the credit card. In teeny tiny print it said that if I cashed the check, it would be considered a chanrge on my credit card. I wonder how many dumb folk get suckered in by that one.

I've near-perfect credit. I missed one credit card payment (the forwarded bill was lost in the mail) and now I get buried with the damn applications.

if you miss one credit card payment and think the junk mail is bad, try being default on a few student loans. eh heh, yeah.

Fucking credit cards anyways. When I first got my mastercard I didn't intend to use it or anything so it just sat lifelessly in my wallet. Then one month i didn't bother to pay the 2 dollars I owed for service charges or whatever, thought I'd just catch up on it next month...

So last year I was thinking of buying a new house. That 2 goddamned dollars was the difference between me getting a $60,000 loan or an $80,000 one. That 2 dollar charge dropped me down 20 grand. Now I keep a 100 dollar credit in the account and I don't think it makes them very happy.

If I should have a credit card it should only be used to order Mark Klem cd's and hard-to-get industrial over the net.

From what I've discovered, all industrial is hard to get, unless its called 'Nine Inch Nails' or 'KMFDM'. :)

That isn't true the_Danachist. There is this amazing thing called Amazon.com. They even have Razed in Black there! In the amount of time it took you to write that 'all industrial is hard to get' you could have practically bought a CD. : )

One problem: lack of credit card.

Ah... I see. Well you could always ask your father or someone else with a credit card to buy it then just pay them the money in cash or whatever. Just a thought.

OR you could just pirate it. That is what I'd personally recommend. I'm sure the Christian God will damn you to hell for it, but hey, live for the moment right?

credit card companies are evil, they are after you cuz you are in a main demographic, and they figure kids will spend all of the allotted amount on crap and then the credit card companies will screw them with the rates and all that crap, and if you really get all the debt paid off they'll send you another with an even greater spending limit.
