Doom 3 Gore mod help needed!

Hi, I've been working on a gore mod for Doom 3 for a bit now. I've almost perfected it, but I want blood to pool on the floor when monsters get fragged. At the moment there's blood all over the walls but the floors are dry but meaty. Any ideas?

Also does anyone know how I can make different weapons spawn different gibs? Like it'd be sick if the plasma gun just left skeletons behind =D
