3 years in the making, and finally I've completed my demopak for JOW.wad. Thank god. The only levels I didn't include were the ones I already uploaded to DSDA simply to beat DidierTranber's times.

Cute end, you had to make sure that rocket would hit him. :) Great to see some demos for this level, I love it for the unconventional ideas everywhere. There is also strong.wad from the same author, never managed to finish that one (tight balance at the start and very confusing).

Here's a second exit max for Europa 2 in 18:35.

I say max because I got 100% secrets, but it's possible to get 150%. Don't know what the rules are about that, but I didn't bother getting the megasphere secret because it's really annoying and I got 100% anyway.

I won't make any statements about the validity of a demo, but it may interest you to know that the secrets can be reached by an awkward strafejump from the raised bar in front of the switch, to the inner ledge (sector 430 to sector 426) - no archvile jumps are needed.

Thanks a lot RjY, that method is way better. I did another Europa 2 max in 18:08 with 150% secrets. I'll let the other guys worry about the hardcore optimization stuff. :)

Demonologist, cool, I haven't got to Europa 3 yet in my /idgames journey, but I noticed there are some recent demos there with low times, so I probably won't be recording on it.

Somehow, Grazza stated that this map had a record time of 8:03, but I could not find that demo anywhere. Moreover, I hereby kindly ask for this wad to have its own thread, so people can record more demos in this very nice wad.

Four of the maps were used in the "H2HMud International Doomers Competition" in 1995. ... To see the winning demos, download 1st-lmps.zip (from http://www.doomworld.com/idgames/index.php?file=lmps/H2HMud/1st-lmps.zip), but note that these demos will not play back OK with the Xmas wad (even if you change the map numbers with LMPC) - presumably there was a node rebuild.
