Light the Night Up

A E2 map inspired by listening Protomen, the level title is based upon one of their songs...

MIDI: Full Jmickle from midi pack 2 of Jmickle"lots of 6 at the end"

Themes: Purple, Silent teleport

New textures: Yes, from eternal (glasses textures) and the sky from... i don't know, i known it was used in Speed of Doom, so let's. Also contains a little wad with the purple colormap/playpal thing from the AD_79 maps

Build Time: 4 FUCKING HOURS. Wow, i've trespassed the alfonzozone and reached the Breezep nirvana state of mapping! It's kind of charming, now that i think about it...

No. 1 PM EST was start time. Now I am just confused.

Feel free to use maps that were started here in other endeavors. But yeah, starting time is the starting time.

We are underway with Round 2!

Same themes from previous round apply:
1. Silent teleports
2. Maximum of 4 monster types/classes
3. Purple stuff!

And here's your bonus theme! Optional, of course.

4. Avoid lines that run parallel to the grid (use as few as possible)

We start mapping in 20 minutes - use the time until then to pick a MIDI and any additional resources you wish to use.

Additionally, please try to make your map in 2 hours, only use Alfonzo Time if you really need it. Things were discussed and the Alfonzo Overdrive allowance (i.e. mapping after 3 hours) is hereby discontinued.

For the love of God stop mapping after 3 hours.

Themes: PURPLE texture set, only 4 types of monsters
Music: MIDI of "Green River" by Creedence Clearwater

Load it with the second resource pack. And yes, it's a wee bit stumpy.

Can somebody balance the things placement in my map for this round? I'm not home and this map could be a collab because the placement is rushed.

Violent Viral Violets
Build Time: 3 hours
Themes: PURPLE, Four monster types (Zombieman, Spectre, Hellknight, Arachnotron)
Music: Terrible conversion from IMF to MIDI of 'Highland - Hocus Pocus (DOS)'\

Added two flats as well. XFLAT14 and XFLAT22

(Edit: Had to reupload quickly to fix some rooms that were too high to enter)

(Edit 2: Uploaded different version of that midi. the original sounds so awful in anything other than OPL emulation for some reason.)

Jimmy's, rf's and TheMionicDonut's maps show missing textures / texture errors in PrBoom-plus, no matter if I run them with violenceB1.wad (loaded before the speedmap's wad) or not.
EDIT: Disregard this, I haven't downloaded the new resource wad.

EDIT2: The exit room's red bars in Jimmy's map don't work in non-ZDoom ports, probably because of a walkover linedef in front of them.
