I don't really get the whole hype behind streaming games these days. Why not just pot the video on YouTube so that everyone can see it, instead of a limited audience that happens to be awake at that point in time? That said, I do like a couple of active streamers, but I always wait for them to post their streams to YouTube.

^ Because of the live chat? Also, Twitch allows streamers to save their streams as videos so that anyone can replay them anytime later (with some time and/or space limits though, as far as I know).

I like streaming over YouTube because it saves directly to my page. Occasionally I'll record sessions with Thursday Night Survival if I feel it's especially noteworthy or interesting.
