The new Doom footage was just amazing. Those of you saying that id's games are just all tech and no story or atmosphere might find yourself eating your words as we get more info on this one. The creatures, levels, lighting, and the entire mood all point to heavy emphasis on environment and story telling. I couldn't adequately describe the visuals, suffice to say they're the best I've ever seen on a PC, period. And of course, they were running real time from what the man Mr. Carmack said.
