My new idea of Doom 3 that has no chance of resembling the actual game.

DOOM 64 + MODELS INSTEAD OF SPRITES + EVEN BETTER GRAPHICS + A FEW NEW WEAPONS + A FEW NEW MONSTERS + NEW LEVELS + LEVEL EDITORS + MULTIPLAYER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1111

I hate to kiss find-the-key exit-the-level with hundreds of monsters g'bye. It was genius in it's simplicity.

I'll like doom1 and 2 better than 3, i think...

I'm pretty sure we love DOOM so much because it kinda shocked us. If someone had made an almost-identical-yet-better clone some days later, he would have had poor sales and recognition.

My point? Nothing will beat your crazy love for the old DooMs, you can't be THAT surprised again now that you're a hardcore gamer.

Imagine, kids that enter the world of gaming today will remember games like Deus Ex or Half-Life as the best damn SP experiences ever. While most of us would mention some really old console game.
