Also, SENTRY GOING UP:

A genius glitch was introduced in the latest update that allowed for this sort of nonsense. No server hacks, cheats, or "premium features" involved. ;)

Heh, I got a helluva shock running into a wall of sentries just now. Just awesome.

Heh... haven't had a chance to play today, but from what I hear, the glitch still isn't fixed despite the 119th. I'm tempted to get some videos of this later while there's still time. :P

Transcribing drum notes to add custom songs into Rock Band. It's a pain to do without actually having the original stems for the tracks.

I'd take a picture of me playing the game on my Lynx. If I still had my Lynx.

That model actually doesn't look too bad.

True, though I'd want to see how it moves. The Doom HRP ones can look ok from certain angles but when they're animated ingame they look pathetic.

Poke poke.

How did you obtain it? In any case, the models don't do the slimy Zerg justice I'm afraid.

I've always just chalked it up to the animations looking lame because they're trying to be direct recreations of the sprites' walk cycles/animations. What works well with a sprite doesn't always translate well for a 3D model.

In other news, Earthbound is the undisputed king of RPGs. Don't even try to argue with me. Didn't you hear what I just said? It's undisputable. Jerks.

Crysis 1080p maxed with 4xAA (but scaled down as to not stretch thread)

I get 60 FPS constant in this scene.

Must be fun playing the game with that ATI Crossfire Xâ„¢ Technology brand on the screen at all times.

No, that's 3, the buildings and gui graphics give it away. :P

The greatest interactive benchmark of all time. Amazing GFX, but average gameplay. Playing through Deus Ex again made the fail that is Crysis's gameplay even more apparent. Denton's augmentations pwn that shitty nano suit.

Awesome! I loved that game...I think I still have it here somewhere too. I liked the music pretty well, but I think my disc is a little scratched up so it didn't want to play some of the tracks.

Gotta love that pinball-esqe map :D

Oh man, I loved that game as a kid. Gonna have to dig it back out again and play it. That and Secret Agent.

I actually bought that at some point. I hope I still have it, I should put it in DOSBox in the near future...

That was a decent game, but it stopped working on my Win'98 for some odd reason, it worked perfect and stop..

But one of my favorites in Dos is Jetpac... God I loved the editor plus the fast paced... Pacing to the gems to open a door whilst avoiding various baddies like my favorite... A Rocket. :D

Jetpack was win, god I wasted hours and hours on that as a kid.

Bio Menace, Sleepwalker, Captain Comic, Secret Agent and Crystal Caves were also good. I think my favorite would be Halloween Harry (later renamed Alien Carnage).
