myk Posted March 10, 2011 I'm looking forward to seeing these PL2 FDAs, Memfis, as I didn't really get an opportunity to see the levels in a "fresh" and finished way initially because I was part of the development team 0 Share this post Link to post

ClumsyCryptid Posted March 11, 2011 So I decided to finally play Cyb's early megawad, though it felt broken when I played it I decided to record it at first. I have two recordings, one on Nightmare and the other on Hurt Me Plenty. The first demo recording I felt it was going to be easy on Nightmare due to how easy bad maps are, but getting shotgunned to death on level 2 was not my cup of tea. The second demo recording was at an easier difficulty for me, but I stopped at I think map 16 after I found that there was no exit. So here are my demos for DoomJR.WAD. I took some of the level slow, and steady due to the bad traps that most bad maps have. I will stick to the latest votes section of the /levels. Enjoy watching, and I didn't bother doing the scoring. I was too bothered by how ripped off I feel about DA2.doomjr-demos.zip 0 Share this post Link to post
ArmouredBlood Posted March 12, 2011 FDAs for plutonia revisited maps 8-16 and 17-26, uploading split because of the filesize restrictions ... Most of the maps have that plutonia feel that I just can't fda with and stop early on, but a couple (like map 25 - cool idea at the end btw) I actually finish, though usually not 100%. Map26 I actually liked quite a bit more than others simply because it's pretty slaughter-heavy, but I ran out of ammo about 250 monsters in as I couldn't reclaim all the ammo I wasted on the 2 archs and chaingunners island before the blue key. Probably just needed to manage ammo better, but if there isn't a way to get on that island somehow, it'd be nice to put one in.prcpt8-16abfdas.zip 0 Share this post Link to post

ArmouredBlood Posted March 12, 2011 25,26. Btw, I want to know who the hell lurks the demos forum often enough to pick up my fda in the first 5 minutes it's up.prcpt25-26abfdas.zip 0 Share this post Link to post
Memfis Posted March 12, 2011 1994 tune-up challenge Alpha Release (1994TU_11032011C.wad) maps21-29. Kinda lazy playing this time. Part 1:1994_mem_fda21-25.zip 0 Share this post Link to post
blob1024 Posted March 12, 2011 recently i figured out the av version i was playing was the OLD and not the newer one. As map24-25 changes in the new AV.wad, I decided to make an FDA out of the map24. results: MAP | TOTAL | LAST | DT | NOTE ------------------------------------------------------- map24 | 33:20 | 11:18 | 4 | ----------- Ending score ----------- Kills: 100% Items: 68% Secrets: 60% -----------av24_fda.zip 0 Share this post Link to post
Memfis Posted March 12, 2011 Sweet, my favorite AV map! Looking forward to watch this. FDA's for such classic wads are very rare. :) 0 Share this post Link to post

Grazza Posted March 19, 2011 didier: It is more convenient to give links to the wads, rather than the urls inside brackets (which forum users will then have to copy/paste into the address line, rather than just clicking on). If you look at the way I have edited your posts, you will see how it is done. 0 Share this post Link to post
