So, Who Owns A Golden Cyber Now?

As many of you must know, the DOOM Academy Awards 2001, the first ever award ceremony for DOOM speedrunners, took place yesterday, Saturday the 23rd, at 22:00 GMT, on the Openprojects IRC network in channel #cyber-awards. The event turned out pretty well and was filled with humor and thank-yous.

I can't argue with any of the decisions made at the Doom Academy Awards and the projects were well worth the time and effort. I think that we should have more events like this, every year! Awesome work and effort peeps!!!

I tried to find the cyber-awards channel but there must have been a server split. Which server was everyone using? Also, are there any Doomworld channels?

There was a Doomworld channel, but AFAIK it got closed down due to lack of use.
