Vile1011 Posted July 15, 2004 I'm looking for a little feedback, gameplay wise, on two of my wads. The reason is that my idea of a fun wad may not be everyone else's idea of a fun wad, and I want people to enjoy my later levels since I'm spending so damned much time on them. What goes into good gameplay anyway? What elements of wad design annoy you and which make you want to keep playing? On to the wads: http://www.doomworld.com/idgames/index.php?id=12031 http://www.doomworld.com/idgames/index.php?id=12149 (the second one you might want to try on HMP first) 0 Share this post Link to post

Keep up the practice and you will be very good for sure! =) (BTW, those crush my sucky WAD-making skills) =/ 0 Share this post Link to post
Lutrov71 Posted July 15, 2004 The first one was alright but didn't have enough health. 0 Share this post Link to post
Mogul Posted July 15, 2004 Hmm I'd say pacing is most important. That's one that that makes DOOM E1 so playable. VERY good pacing. Pacing, being how the battles are set up and how frequent they are, balanced with map layout, I suppose. 0 Share this post Link to post
