This is probably one of the most creative wads I've seen, architecture wise. As far as the difficulty, its probably not as "insane" as it looks at first glance. I only played one upper level (i think it was map 24), which had me against about 65,000 archviles within 3 seconds, but the map wasn't that tough once I figured the basic layout of the level. Most "insane" maps are like that: if you play smart, they wind up being 1000 times easier than the monster count would suggest.

********ly needs difficulty levels implemented. I saw in another thread this will be done in a re-release .. better late than never, i guess. :p

Earlier levels have too many cheap trial-and-error traps, that you have to know about ahead of time to survive. Half-Life Doom is not fun ~_~;

Later levels have such a high monster count, you have to devise a strategy just to get through the map. ********ly not a casual blast-fest.

Wow, this was one hell of a tough wad! And I'm only on level 15...
Nice to have some thing to take my mind off of all this mapping I've been doing! :P
