Vile1011 Posted March 11, 2005 This is probably one of the most creative wads I've seen, architecture wise. As far as the difficulty, its probably not as "insane" as it looks at first glance. I only played one upper level (i think it was map 24), which had me against about 65,000 archviles within 3 seconds, but the map wasn't that tough once I figured the basic layout of the level. Most "insane" maps are like that: if you play smart, they wind up being 1000 times easier than the monster count would suggest. 0 Share this post Link to post

I saw in another thread this will be done in a re-release .. better late than never, i guess. :p Earlier levels have too many cheap trial-and-error traps, that you have to know about ahead of time to survive. Half-Life Doom is not fun ~_~; Later levels have such a high monster count, you have to devise a strategy just to get through the map. ********ly not a casual blast-fest. 0 Share this post Link to post
