New Doom II Map (Damnation Mine)

I have a New Doom 2 map (map 25) Called Damnation Mine. Its from an old project called Pir2. That project was never completed and this map does not fit in to NHFL Ep II: Fate either..So I deicided to relase the map as is. Not bad... I like the theme used, its very fitting!

Pretty good. Nice lighting, good use of odd textures, (apart from the COMPBLUE.) I found some slimetrails too...

.... It's hard to sum up how I felt about this map. It felt like I was playing a map that could have gone into the original DOOM2 wad without any trouble, and succeed at making it suck a lot less. It was basically like I was playing A doom 2 map that Didn't suck. I like the clean, simple decorations. you didn't uberwhore on the detail, which I like, although a lot of textures needed to be aligned. I apologize, but I'm a touch picky about that. Good map, all in all.

Not bad its a strange looking wad thats for sure,but in a good way of course.
This wad gave me the feeling that I was playing an original doomII level.

Played it! It's quite good, thanks for sharing. I also like the use of different texture combinations, but agree with Lutrov that the COMPBLUE switch should go.

I also found an unclosed sector at around x814 y1441

Now get back to work on NHFL 2

Well as a matter of fact..(going through all my doom stuff) I may have afew more maps that where from the same project that I just might release sooner or later..

A bit short but very good.
This would even make up for a very nice deathmatch map.

Deathmatch?..Hmm..I never really considered this map as a DM map..IDK i think its just abit to large for that..But thanks for the comment
