First TC attempted

Decided to start to make something for Doom 2. Some how it turned out to be a Sonic tc. I just want some opinion and ideas. All I have are some replaced textures and sprites.

I got a build of what I have and new unfinished status bar. But hey pretty good for a guy just starting.

Seriously, not bad for a start, I guess. I suck at conversions.

Simpsons Doom is what got me on the band waggon.

Yah I know there is a Sonic Doom already out. I want a gome witha little more humor. I'm replacing the character as Dr. Eggman and you shoot the good guys. Losts of hits on the Sonic Cartoon will be pressent as well.

You should include some cool levels with loops, bouncing pads, and rings! Make the halth bonuses rings!

It would be really cool if it had some sonic style levels.

Already Exists. It's really good too. (no loops though).

looks nice so far. keep it up. i never was a big fan of ssd in the first place. this looks like it could be a bit more fun.

It will be cool if got rid of the eye-frying color scheme. Green floor, black/red ceiling, and brown walls? NO NO NO.

Actually there's two. One of them is a really ambitious project that even have it's own source port.

The first is Sonic Robo Blast Doom2:

They are both very very good.

Well, Sonic Robo blast 2 is a 3rd person Sonic based TC.

Sonic Doom is Doom done sonic style.

They are both valuable additions to the pleathora of wads around the world. Sonic RObo blast 2 even have a small community surrounding it.

Ah, yes. I'd rather see him dedicate his time on an already started project instead of doing this.

Yup. Before making any maps I'm making the textures and needed sprites and putting them in Doom maps to test. Its going to be hard making maps that truly represent Green Hill Zone.

I was looking at Sonic Robo Blast Doom2. Jesus Christ. But it travels to much away from Doom and a game of its own.

I believe it's Dr. Robotnik, who was formerly dr. kintobor before his transformation

which was caused by Sonic, and is in fact the reason he's supposed to gather the rings, but people forgot about that and the poor doctor is doomed to a life of evil with no hope of reversal.

IMO the sonic universe got overbloated overfast.
