Help with Phobia - The Age

At the end of Level 3, I put that red object in the holder, and the doors opened. I walked into the black area, but nothing happened, and I don't know where to go from here. Can anyone help?

The map is supposed to change there.
Fraggle script must have resorted to one of it's Trademark fuckups where it for some reason ignore lines of the script for no reason what so ever.

But it's ok though.
Just bring down the consol and type in this.

In a lot of source engines, the player must cross the front of the line def for it to work, was the line def backward?
