Description:

Community is Falling 3 is the third sequal to the 'Community Is Falling' series, which are jokewads based on the drama and comedy inside the Doom community featuring our beloved mspaint newbie that we all know and hate.

Unlike the previous two jokewads, this one is a full fledged megawad/TC that abuses as much Zdoom features as possible. The design of this jokewad is not like that of Mock2, or DoTims, rather than targeting a more serious design approach, followed by a not-so serious storyline.

Story:

Happy members of the Doom community anticipate the release of KDiZD. The team responsible for the project couldn't have been more popular. People now want to be like them, people want to be as awsome as them. They had it all until that one horrific day; The day KDiZD was leaked..

Doomworld and Zdoom communities soon began pointing fingers at each other blaming the leak which the community itself began to go up in flames. Seeking refuge in #ZDoom, the remaining members of Doomworld sought out the 'hacker'. The same hero who saved Doomworld from the Quake 3 and Steam communities and restored the Doom community from complete destruction.

Unlike the other two adventures, the community that the hacker will fight against, is the Doom community itself. This will be the most intense fight he will ever be involved in.. the hacker realized that this could possibly be the actual end of the Doom community. Grabbing his frying pan and his internet gear, the hacker logs on to Doomworld and begins his quest....

That was pretty interesting. Unfortunately, the game crashed on me right before I was going to talk to Bloodshedder after returning from the ZDoom forums. :(

zdoom 2.2.0? gzdoom? etc?


Also, I would like to let everyone else know that this was only tested on zdoom 2.2.0, and not gzdoom, skulltag or any other zdoom-based source ports. So if you insist that you want to run it on gzdoom, then its your own risk...

I was playing it with the latest SVN of ZDoom (R792). Actually, ZDoom crashed when I was fighting those weird butt alien things in that level where you see the ZDoom goon get killed by those Mantra things.

Was this occuring when you triggered a autosave event? Also is this problem occuring consistantly?

Edit: Actually, it makes sense, its more likely an autosave event as there's a autosave line right at the start of that level.

If you're getting crashes whilst playing, play in a window. For some reason, this is a working remedy for the problem.

I just got to the OFTC level and noticed the #zdoom guard asked if I was Bloodskull. Didn't know I'd be included in this but hey, cool.

I'm still getting a couple of crashes (although, not as often as if playing in fullscreen), even when playing in a window...

I think it has to deal with the code for saving the game- Kaiser is pushing Zdoom to its limits here so expect some crazy things to happen.

way better than kdizd and tnt and simplicity and dvII
this is wad of the year
(if you can get that certain elton john to remove the thumb from sphincter)

I guess so, because I have no issues with this in 2.2.0 (the normal version you get on Zdoom's "Download" page. Maybe you should try that version. =)

No. I'm on the zdoom 4 - security station map and any type of save attempt, normal or autosave, crashes the game.
EDIT: "disableautosave 1" doesn't fix this.

The founding of the YTMND fad NEDM was sparked by the response of a horrified YTMND viewer who saw a site that had a cat being torched in a cage or something, with Doom Music in the background. A number of people had voted 5 because of Doom Music, and the legendary post recounted that "Not Even Doom Music" made that site good. Hence, flames = NEDM.

Yes, I understand this, but its disruptive and obnoxious appearance in CIF3 is what I am questioning.
