The setting for this map is an abandoned base discovered inside a glacier. It is a pistol-only level (aside from secrets) and is meant to possibly be the first in a set of maps of some sort. Primarily designed for single-player, but I think it would be great for DM as well.

Are the high-res textures shown in the images included, or just your personal install?

I'm not a fan of Doom's pistol (weak, slow, unsatisfying to use IMO) but I liked the classic visual style of this map. Would be interesting to see more but with a shotgun at least. :)
btw here is a demo of my playthrough (watch in prboom-plus or other classic port)

Shadow Hog: I didn't see any high-res textures.

prboom-plus 2.5.1.3 won't play the demo...says "Unknown demo format 80"

You must be doing something wrong. How do you play it? The easiest way is to "Open with..." the demo and select prboom-plus.

You can't play a zip file.

Looks like one of Kurikai's texture packs.

I didn't have the glacier.wad file in the same directory as the demo...apparently that matters?

Anyway, thanks for showing me the demo, it's nice to see someone "playing" my level. :)
