Oh my, this map needs one thing first: take the layout and condense it by half. It is just massive and empty! Step 2 is going to be adding SGs to spawn (or SSGs if you feel like going that route). You seriously need to combat the vastness and the need to run very far for weapons and meeting opponents. We'll see what to do next throughout next week!

Cacowad - BWT This is Definitely Tomato Sausage

Technically it's also quite spacious, but this is a case where it can work just fine in a very Greenwarish fashion. You should invest heavily into SSG spawns. Sure, keep some CG spawns here and there, but most of them should be SSG. I'm not sure whether the plasma spawns are a good idea or not... it can have some less desired effects, but hey, 32in24 is where the experimentation happens. The mix of SSGs and plasma on an open flat terrain should hopefully work out.

Btw, those small pickups (shells, bullet clips) are superfluous. If you don't want empty spaces, add something decorative like pools or candles or gibs... stuff. Those meaningless puny pickups can be a little annoying, lighting up your screen wherever you go. That line of flasks is cool tho.

Minor update to my map:

Got rid of some starts and moved other starts, moved powerups to the edge, got rid of impassable line blocking the main arena, so those who fall are screwed. Added medikits and cell ammo close to cybie's cage and changed the sky*.

And also, I finally figured out exactly where the midi to my map is from, but I don't have the file right now (why did I remove it from my computer? D:) Instead, here's a youtube vid with pretty much the exact same midi.

*What sky seems to fit best for this map? This version has a brownish one, while I notice there are several brown, red, and blue ones, so really I'm unsure about which sky would be suitable for transferring to the map.

Updated my maps.

Added extra DM starts, exit rooms.

Late Night Porking - Fixed that HOM; weird broken line. Changed shotgun in the middle to a rocket launcher, added some SSGs. dew, what do you mean by adding SSG starts, but not too many? Like some people start with SSGs and some dont? Wasn't sure how to respond to that, hopefully this works better. I think I missed the part where these were supposed to be deathmatch maps for large crowds, this one is kinda duel-sized. I'm considering adding on to it but I'm concerned it could screw up the layout. I'll save that for next week I think.

Alright, I made some changes to my "Tap Water and Mayo Sandwiches" map.

I just resized the whole thing to make it smaller so it wouldn't be so goddamned huge and lowered the taller floor heights so people wouldn't have to strain their necks to look up and try to hit the dude standing on higher ground.

BFG fixed, now easier to get. Lift lowers fast down for 1 second and up when you walk near the BFG.
Exit moved to where the BFG switch was.
DM starts moved closer to weapons. Less DM starts.
Ammo changes.
