Doom64_Tc absolution running in ram drive, still uses hdd=wtf?

Running latest release of Doom64 TC from Doom Depot. Despite installing it on a ramdrive it keeps thrashing my HDD.

Was annoying at first since it intermittently stuttered and paused. So I copied the folder to my ramdrive and deleted it from HDD. But it still stutters and thrashes my HDD even though its running from ram. WTF?

Setting maxzone to 256 (and 256m) doesn't work. Have no problems with other programs...

Any help would be appreciated!
