GooberMan Posted February 27, 2001 I posted this out on the general forum aswell... but anyway... I've been working on a project for the past couple of weeks, and I am confident that I will have a small demo ready within a week, so to show people what to expect I have given a link to a website I have set up for the project. Direct your browsers to http://www.geocities.com/gooberman_and_friends/doom_chronicles if you are interested in finding out what it's about 0 Share this post Link to post
GooberMan Posted March 3, 2001 OK, even though nobody's checked it out, I thought I'd supply an update. I am on track to getting the demo ready by Monday, as the basic architecture has been layed down for all the maps that will come with it. Just mainly have to add computer consoles, finish the computer display graphics, record some extra sounds (and get all the speech I need, hope you lot don't mind my annoying voice). The maps will no doubt have quite a bit of extra stuff added to them after the demo is released, but first on the agenda after the demo is released will be to get the rest of the maps made, then worry about making them all have millions of vertexes per sector (well not quite but you get the point). Adios for now. 0 Share this post Link to post
GooberMan Posted March 6, 2001 Well, it's Tuesday (1am Wednesday here actually) and I didn't upload it. I am currently still busy getting all the speech recorded and scripted into the main WAD so I can release the speech as an add-on. Most of the coding is in place, I just need to get the sounds recorded so I can include the timing in the scripts. Hopefully I should have it released within the next 24 hours. The maps are incomplete, but playable. With the release of this demo, I want to get an idea of what people think of the direction it's heading and what areas need to be improving. Adios for now. 0 Share this post Link to post
